Unhappy Challenge car to street roadster. Finished my challenge car (#SP5270)

Completed in 2005 Used it on track several times but now health issues requires that I convert it to strictly street use. I have always had lights buy I now need power steering ad I don't know where to start. And I need softer springs and better shocks. I would like to remove bars in the doors so that the doors could be functional again. Will the removal of some bars weaken the chassis. T will need to replace the racing seats and find hitches and door latches.
I will need all the help and advice I can get .

I'm doing the opposite, no cage but driving Time Trials. I need an upgrade path from FFR stock Coil over Koni (red) and solid axle with limited slip diff to a road race suspension.
    Gratefully,
