Any issues with this xxr wheel/tire size setup?

I am looking at the following setup:

    17x7 5x100 +35mm xxr 530 (front)
    215/40/17 tire

    17x8.25 5x100 +35mm xxr 530 (rear)
    255/40/17 tire

I am running rear wagon width links. I heard I need to decrease my offset because of this.

I am looking not to scrub anywhere and ensure a good tire fit. Not looking for 235 up front.

    Would this setup work?

I chose the same size XXR wheel and tire sizes that GRM did:

    Front:
    215/40R17 tires on 17x7.0-inch wheels, +35mm offset

    Rear:
    255/35R18 tires on 18x8.75-inch wheels, +35mm offset

The front fitment is what's recommended by FFR. My donor was an 06 WRX wagon, and I fit the 18x8.75 +35 with 255/35's with adequate clearance, so you should be fine.

I ended up with xxr 530's in gold in the following sizes.
    Front:
    215/40R17 tires on 17x7.0-inch wheels, +35mm offset

    Rear:
    255/40R18 tires on 18x8.75-inch wheels, +35mm offset

For tires I went with the Bridgestone re71r.

I had to use hub centric rings and tuner lugs. Everything fit nicely.
