    Rear brakes options.

I am setting up my rear axle and am trying to figure out what I am going to do for the back brakes. This is going to be a road car. I want brakes that I can get it stopped if someone pulls out in front of me but I don't want to spend money that I don't need to spend. The cheapest and easiest option is to get the back brakes from a SN95 V6/GT from a salvage yard and rebuild them. But if they are not enough for manual brakes then the next would be Cobra brakes that will cost alot more and won't be easy to find a donor car for. Or do I just get the option from Factory Five when I order the kit. I am putting these on a 1988 Mustang GT axle with 5 lug axles from a non ABS 98 V6. so I know I will need an adapter bracket.
