I suggest that you contact FFR, they have a European distributor located in The Netherlands. Possibly they can give you the information you need

With the EU, did they standardize the requirements for KIT Cars? The rules should be the same, no mater where the parts come from.

That's the main problem, rules still differ in Europe...and France is not at the top, but thanks anyway

I have sent a couple of pre-registered cars to France. They were both registered here at 65 Ford Roadsters and as far as I know they had no issues importing a "used" American car.

Thanks à lot, would it be possible to provide their e mail ? Or just any contact, i guess they have paid the import tax or just shipped it as second hand

I'm in Switzerland (i know not the same rules) and currently investigating building a GTM.

Swiss law refers to this EU regulation:
    http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-conte...016%3A31%3AFIN

There are special conditions for small series vehicles:
Search for this text in the regulation above
    "Appendix 1
Regulatory acts for EU type-approval of vehicles produced in small series pursuant to Article 39
    Table 1
    M1 vehicles"

You will find a table showing what needs to be done:
Topics with X are mandatory, those with A,B,C have special conditions. The legend is at the end of the table.
I'm discussing this with an import expert for Switzerland. No final YES yet, but i think it could work and avoid crash tests.

    Keep us posted !
