    Steering shaft rubbing

With the 33 HotRod Is anybody getting rubbing of the steering shaft joints on the outside of the firewall from the screw stops? Why does the shaft from the steering column have such a extreme angle to the left side of the car (drivers side)?

Make sure you have the bearing that is mounted to the firewall in correctly and not backwards.

    Hi Guys

just want to chime in, the shaft at that angle due to clearance for all header and all engine types ...

    hope this helps...

Also to get you down to the frame to mount the power steering unit if needed.
