How to identify ej207 engine serial number

I am about to pull the trigger on a EJ207 Version 7 motor for JDM racing motors, they sent me some pics of it, one which had a picture of the block which had
B099568 stamped on it, but I can find some info on the numbers, can anyone help?

Well best bet is to look at the rest of the motor. The manifold should have no tgv. And turbo should be a vf30. The ecu should also have the right part numbers. Also no cat in the up pipe to the turbo. Timing cover will have one larger lump for the AVCS.
