    Alignment Specs Please

I purchased an MK 1 back in January and have been tweaking things and just changed the wheels and would like to have the alignment checked. I have looked through the manual and can't find the specs anywhere. The MK 4 manual shows specs but I'm not sure they are the same for my car. I am running 17's. Rear is solid so no issue's there.
    Thanks -

The alignment specs should be the same on the Mk1 and Mk4 cars. If you are running power steering you can run more caster for better road feel. Manual steering should have 3* caster and power steering should have 6*-9* caster.

    Caster 3* (6-9* power steering)
    Camber -1/2*
    Toe 1/16" toe in

    Best regards,

Thanks Brian - I wish it had power steering but I'm used to it now.

With 3* caster the steering might feel twitchy or too easy. Increasing the caster will make the steering wheel want to return to center. 6*-9* of caster would give you more road feel with power steering.

6*-9* of caster with the manual rack might make it too difficult too steer.
