    Bay Area Shop visit

    Hi All,

Yesterday went to local shop to set up the orange corvette in picture with my hardware for all body control modules ( All free for now 8 modules ), saw 2 GTM there thought I would share pictures, the RED one is done by Shane I had never seen other finished cars, it is well done, did not see the engine bay as we did not want to remove the spoiler, the front was clean I think it had ABS, I had one peice that did not know where it goes and now I know, but not sure if I can add it without removing things but will take a look.

Not sure who did the black one but need a lot of work, I think someone in bay area bought it.

lots of nice car here, I also have few control module in the green GT40, lots of cobra in the shop, these are not FFR kits, the owner bought the white GT40 from ford VS Ferrari move in auction last year.

Looks like a great shop. Am I the only one who thinks that engine cover looks like Max Rebo (and yes, I had to look up his name... I'd be concerned about myself if I knew it) ?

I believe all of the Ford vs Ferrari cars were from RCR.

Now I'm afraid you'll ever see mine...

Black car tail lights look good, unique.

I bet that engine cover on the black one causes all kinds of temperature issues by trapping in engine heat, unless there is some other type of cooling fans moving air under the cover.

My thoughts exactly. And I'm not a huge fan of the look.

Not to mention air intake temps, it's drawing in ambient air from either the top or the front of the engine.

But it's a completed GTM, that's a feat in itself. I'd be proud of it.

Maybe the builder was counting on the roof scoop getting some cool air in there for this custom intake.

I'll give them that. I haven't finished mine yet LOL.
