It didn't Steve. With the FF side pipes, the engine has less back pressure than a stock setup. Some more back pressure should increase low end performance, and reduce high RPM performance. It definitely has more low end power. Can't tell a difference (loss of power) in 1st or 2nd at full throttle. Not sure what it will do in higher gears.

I purchased the new Coyote gas pedal bracket from FF. Turns out, I can't install it after the footbox sheet metal is installed. The intent was to raise the gas pedal up a little higher.
It may be possible if you remove the steering shaft, but I'm not going to try.

I went and looked at mine and see the problem. There isn't a whole lot of room to play with there. You could conceivably fabricate something to bolt in there from the inside, but getting the accelerator unit itself around the shaft could be problematic. You could also shorten the pedal shaft (or whatever you call it). Maybe you already did that.

Al, Yes I did shorten the pedal shaft, per the original instructions. Looking at the newer assembly instructions, I noticed that the pedal, because of the bracket angle, looked to be lower to the floor (in the direction as you're pushing the gas pedal down). If I'm pushing the brakes and rock my foot sideways, I can push the accelerator pedal down a little.
