Not sure if you ever found your answer Alister, but I’d like to learn what the largest fuel cell size will fit the Gen 3 Coupe too.

From a friend with a Gen 3 Coupe.

    It’s an ATL SU122E
    Super cell 100
    22 gallons
    33 by 17 by 9
    Aluminum can option
    Built in surge tank
    Other options also
    $2300

Hope it helps, Daryl had to go to the cold garage to find his notes.

He built a steel support/protection frame and modified a few tubes and removed the standard gas tank mounts.

Gordon, I really need to call you and go over some things regarding my plans for a Type 65-R build. I just need to collect my thoughts/questions before I do, so I don't waste your time.

What is the model of that fuel cell? I assume it is a Fuel Safe brand, as they make several models in 32gal sizes. What extent of custom work are you having to do? Frame mods under the rear floor area to get it to fit and tuck up nice and tight?

Fuel Safe 32gal dimensions (this applies to all the different models such as ProCell, Sportsman, Enduro, etc): 34.5" x 17.875" x 14.5"
