    Papa,

Flew into Denver on Thursday for two days of training and there was snow on the ground and it was 28 degrees!

I'm hoping the weather gods give you a few more weeks of driving weather so you can get that beautiful car home and on the streets.

Yep - Wednesday was 79 degrees and Thursday we got snow. Friday morning it was 7 degrees when I left the house. Today I spent the day outside in a t-shirt, and you'd never know we had 3" of snow two days ago. This is typical Colorado in the spring and fall seasons. Right now, I'm just hoping that the transporter doesn't get cold feet. He warned me that he won't go if there is any snow. He'll be contacting Jeff on Monday to coordinate a pick-up time sometime the week of the 20th. I can't wait to see the car in person.

Not quite winter here yet. This was just a sucker punch. The great thing about our Colorado weather is that even when the temps drop, as long as you are in the sun, you'll usually be comfortable. Venture into the shade or get caught without a jacket after the sun goes down and you'll feel the chill.

Talked to Jeff and my transporter today. It looks like I will have my car back home either Wednesday or Thursday next week unless some unforeseen issue arises!

    Dave-

You picked out a beautiful color combination, and an excellent painter to put it together for you! She looks truly amazing! I cannot imagine how you feel, but I know you must be stoked.

    Jeff-

Another amazing job! I really admire the work you do, and the quality with which you do it!

I can't wait to see her all back together and the smile on Dave's face the first time he takes her down the road!! Thanks for sharing Dave.

    Regards,

    Steve

Dave & Jeff, absolutely stunning! I'm sure it will captivate anyone who gazes upon this beautiful car! I can only imagine what it will be like for you to have it finally get finished. To be able to stand back and take in all the hard work, dedication and time spent in the process. The end is near, and it's a beautiful thing! I guess it's time to just savor the last steps in the long awaited journey's end! Such beautiful work from both of you!

    DJ,

You're more than welcome to come by for a visit. I've had the pleasure of meeting several local builders, a few dreamers, and a long distance forum member over the time I've been building. Just PM me if you want to come by.

    Bradley,

Any time next weekend should work fine. I'll be installing the belts and a few other odds and ends and changing the plugs … again. Just give me a call or text before heading my way so I can be sure to be there. I can't wait to see your car for the first time! Let's hope this weather holds out for a while longer.

Enjoy the drive. Any color left in the Aspens still? This is my favorite time of year in Colorado!

Na. We blew it, Beth was nervous about the cold the weekend before the big freeze and we didn’t go. Oh well, there’s a lot of time in front of us - life only gets better from here.

You know I will. I'll have a few things to finish up on the car once it's back. I'll post plenty of pictures as I wrap it up.

That looks absolutely blue-etiful! I Love that color and the white racing stripes inside and out is no doubt the way to go! Enjoy the final wrap-up and steps before crossing that graduation finish line. Very nice work!

Thanks DJ. Let me know if you want to come check it out next weekend. If you time it right, you'll have a couple to check out as GTBradley may come by sometime as well.
