New England Dragway Street night Wednesday Aug 10, 2017

I'll be taking the gen3 Daytona coupe to New England dragway this Wednesday street night. It costs $25 to drive or $10 to spectate... who's coming?

Can you make it to Gulfport Dragway instead?

Without knowing the weight F-B bias and horsepower I'll take a wild stab at 11.1 @ 124MPH
Post the results I'm anxious to know how it launches.

    Ugg!

If you decide to make the Dragstrip a regular habit, then consider these sticky donuts:

Just understand that they will be a bit tough on your clutch.

Fastest run.. had a blast, although NHRA rules are kinda dumb. No side windows they treat the car like a convertible requiring fireproof jacket, arm restraints. They also complained of no battery cutoff switch at the back of the car. Since I didnt have those they told me to not go faster then 13sec, which I did most of the night except for the last 2 runs... 12.2@115 on street tires aint bad at all.

LOL <quote> they told me to not go faster then 13sec <quote>

Sanctioning bodies are strange. a car that is perfectly good to go 140 + mph on a road course for one group is not ok to run 115 MPH straight line.

Bet it was a lot of fun

Glad You Had Fun Making Runs Down The 1,320!

Very Nice Numbers Considering You Have The Car Mapped Down To Comply With Your Road Racing HP/Weight Class Rules!

Should you come down South for Cruising The Coast, Gulfport Dragway will let you run pretty much anything that you have as long as it has a cage, just get a window net if you don't have one.
