    Gen 1 GTM for sale

I have been trying to complete this project for the past 6 years and have finally given up. I simply do not have the time required to get it done and want to move on.

I purchased GTM #35 from Performance Werx back in 2008. It was 80% complete and came with many upgrades and extra stuff. I sold all of the things I did not need on the car as I had already purchased most of it before buying the kit. The body still needs lots of work. The window channels have been started and the previous owner modified the rear side scoops, which will need work. The louvered front and back are pretty cool and they went with Ford GT "like" side marker lights.

    Parts included with the purchase:

    Interior:
    Custom GTM gauges ($1500)
    Brandwood cable shifter ($800)
    Sound deadening material throughout interior
    Vintage Air AC system ($1350)

    Corvette Donor parts:
Non donor kit - all new GM parts ($11,000)

Stock Corvette wheels and tires (used)

    Things you will still need:
    Donor engine and trans
Exhaust - there are plenty who are willing to give away the stock system.
    Factory rotors and calipers ($300)
Painless wiring system - again lots of folks upgraded, so you could find one on the forum. ($300)
Other misc. parts - I have gone through most of the boxes and found there are a couple things missing such as one of the low beam head lights, however I wasn't able to inventory everything. There are also duplicate parts from the multiple builds the previous owner was working on (two sets of plexi headlight covers, extra set of inner and outer CV boots, ETC...)

Most of the hard work has been done, but the car is still in a state where you can make changes to your taste. The most work still needed is just finishing the body. More than half of the aluminum panels were powder coated and most of the panels have already been riveted to the frame. This build did not use a donor, so it has all new parts. I will include everything I received when I purchased the car from the previous owner. As such, this kit is sold as-is.

I will also include the build manual and any additional parts that came with the car.

    Work that has been completed:

    Brake and clutch lines installed.
Rolling chassis - all suspension and steering mounted
Door frames partially started, inner braces installed and power window motors installed
Radiator and cooling system installed - car had full drive train installed when I purchased it
    AC system installed
Many panels already riveted and covered in Dynamat
    All panels drilled for riveting

That being said, the body is rough and needs lots of work - There is orange tape on the back hatch that got old and wont peel off, but will sand off easily
The vinyl interior pieces needs some cleaning and may have nicks and some small scratches.

The car has some wiring, but I removed the iSquared system years ago for an InfinityBox setup, that was never installed. You will need to purchase a Painless or other wiring system.

This is a good deal for a budget build for someone with talent and time to finish. I have receipts for all parts (the new GM parts alone cost $9000 back when the build was started).

Considering this is a 1st Gen GTM and the new kits are $25K and the additional parts installed are valued today at almost $15k, I'm hoping to sell this for a reasonable price.
    SOLD!

PM me if you have any questions.

    Thanks for looking!

Mods - I got permission from David to post as I didn't have the required 20 posts for permission. (I spent most of my time on the other GTM boards.)

Do you still have your car for sale? I live in Murrieta and can come by this next week.
