    Alternator 1-wire vs 3-wire

I am not familiar with the advantages/disadvantages of 1-wire vs 3-wire alternators. Is one better than the other?

A Ford 3G is the best alternator you can get. The wiring is is a non issue and it's easy to service if needed. The one wire alternator is overrated. I've had both.
    FFR 4440 - V8, Manual Trans, Htr, WSW, IRS. I wouldn't change a thing.

It just looks better under the hood by reducing the extra wires.

    That's All!
