    Transmission Tunnel Cover Gaps

When I push the transmission tunnel cover as far forward as it will go, I have about a 3/16" gap at the rear. Is this correct considering carpet and coverings will eventually fill this space? Should I split the difference so that there are equal gaps front and rear? Help!!!

    Hi Joel,
I hope you stay safe from the wildfires raging out there not terribly far from you.
I think mine was similar, I believe I fit up the front seam, and bent the tab down as needed in the back to take up the gap. I did seam seal all the joints and any holes at the joints both inside and outside in an effort to limit hot air leaks, and not have water trapped between after getting caught in a rainstorm.
