    Transmission/engine separation stripped 10mm

In attempting to separate my engine and transmission, 2004 wax 5 speed, I stripped the hex head on the 10mm plug trying to get to the pin . Any suggestions on the best way to remove it, now that I have screwed it up?

You can go through the starter hole to remove clutch cover bolts. Then remove the transmission. That way you can throw the trans on a bench to see if you can get the plug out. You could drill two hole into the plug and make some kind of spanner bar to get it out.

I was gonna say tack-weld a tab onto it, but I like Bob’s idea also.
