Nice! Welcome. What are your plans? What are you doing for a donor?

I have an 07 WRX for a Donor... A shop here in town builds some outrageous Subaru Race engines.. Has a few that have put down over 1000WHP... not going that nuts. Planning a flex fuel 400-450 HP with a STi 6 speed...

Mine is tuned on E85 and puts down 418 to the tires. Good luck on the build.

I look forward to following your progress. Mine is just 5-6 days away on the same truck. I am using a 2004 wrx donor, which is in the re-build process. Good luck!!

Keith - what material are you using to coat the aluminum panels and the undercarriage and did you prime the panels with anything before you applied it?
    Thanks!

It's Herculiner... I did not prime the panels, probably should have, just rough them up some with sand paper...

I see a dent in your firewall where the bolt for the lower control arm hits it. I ended up drilling a 1.5-inch hole in the firewall so I could torque that bolt, then found a hole cover at Ace Hardware.

I like the cover.. I torqued it before I installed the arm.. But I like the looks of the hole and cover vs. the dent.. May have to do the same thing... Thanks!!

btw: the spec was like 140ft lbs right seemed so high to me.

The 140ft-lbs is correct however your suppose to torque it with the vehicle on the ground which is why most people cut the hole.
