I ordered a 20x60x 1/4" sheet of UV coated Polycarbonate from: https://shapesplastics.com/polycarbo...-polycarbonate for $156 and cut it using the glass windshield as a template. So far so good. It's only been a couple of weeks though. It retrospect I wish I had gone 3/16". The 1/4" fit just fine, it was just a bit stubborn and I had my 2 sons helping out. With 3/16" it would have been an easy 1 person job. The stuff is very easy to cut and trim! That was my biggest concern and it 100% was the easiest part.

Nice work, John. Thanks for the link. I’m curious though if you got the lexan in the link or did you get their abrasion resistance product?

I would recommend to anyone using polycarbonate to get the hardened stuff, as cleaning might be an issue without it.

Keep us posted on how your windscreen performs.
