Brand new to FF5 - GTM Build #502 questions

Hi guys, I'm new to the FF5 world and just getting started on my build. I am doing a few things differently on my build, however I am looking for updated information on putting ABS in. I am not using a donor car, so I am buying the parts as needed.

I have already purchased new control arms and Corvette C6 ZR1 calipers & Carbon Ceramic rotors.

My first question is what is the latest way that people are putting ABS on? I would like to retrofit either a C6 system and/or a standalone system that doesn't cost a fortune, but that I could buy new.

I have found a lot of information, however I am looking for either a C6 option and/or cheaper than Bosch.

I guess the first question would be whether there is a difference in wheel sensors between the C6 hubs vs the C5 hubs. If there is a difference and you're running C5 hubs, then I would say you'd be better off running the C5 antilock system. It's been a very long time, but I have installed a couple of those in GTM's here. I haven't heard much for feedback from those who have done this to see how well it works?

The ZR1 hubs use different sensors than the regular C5, C6 hubs. You can identify them due to the increased spline count on the ZR1 hubs. This also means that your regular C5, C6 axles will not work. You will either have to make something custom, buy the stuff from www.myraceshop.com to adapt it, or switch back to the C5, C6 regular hubs. Easiest thing to do is to switch back to the regular hubs. If you are worried about stoutness, then get the racing version which is the SKF 5049 hub. Easily identified by the black oxide coating.
