    wheel wobbles?

I just put on the wheel for the first time and noticed that when I spin it there is a wobble. The rotors start to rub with the brake pads in certain spots, took the rotors off, they are straight, put the wheel back on without the brake rotors and I can tell the the hub does not spin true and is the source of the wobble. the donor only had 63,000 miles and drove fine before tear down. I did clean and re-paint the whole hub assembly, I could have gotten water into it with the cleaning / rinsing / etching / rinsing / POR-15 painting. It seems to spin ok, and not make a grinding sound but wobbles enough to concern me. Does this sound like bad bearings or an issue with the hub? I have yet to check all but I think it is all of them.

Not sure why the axle faces get far out of true, but I once had some measure .015 inch of run-out, instead of .003 or less. I junked them, but someone with a good sized lathe could true them up.

Get a dial indicator and check the face run-out.
