Anyone in SoCal into air cooled VW's??

I am reaching out for a bit of help. I am looking at buying a Ghia that is located in Lakewood and would appreciate if someone could give it a look.

    Anyone?

use to work years ago in a VW shop in Orangeburg, ny (engine rebuilding) - Ghia's are kool cars... but wider than the bugs. Big issues is body work! They are close to being hand built cars with the body parts leaded to the basic body. The pan is wider than a bug so if rotted out the parts are easy to get just can't use the bug body pans. No I'm not "currently" in So. Calif .. I'd love to go look at one again! I have often thought about finding a rare convertable Ghia. Hope it works out for you!
