    RF Harness question/help

In the part of the wiring harness that carries the "alternator bundle," there is the red wire for the alternator, the blue wire for the starter, the orange and purple wires that go to the coil. There is also what looks like a dark gray or maybe lavender 16 gauge wire. What is that wire for? Help!!! Thanks, Joel

The bundle of wires I think you're asking about I haven't seen as part of the alternator bundle. It's a separate group marked "Coil EFI/Crank." Is that the one? That bundle has Dk Green and Gray speedo signals (some EFI modules need the speed sensor signal), Orange and Purple Coil/Tach wires, and Blue crank power. That isn't the right wire for the starter. That's in another bundle. That one is also needed by some EFI modules.

Judging from the schematic, it appears it is the gray "speedometer signal" wire. I'm not running any version of EFI so am guessing I just "terminate" that wire? Not connect it? Joel

Yea, just cap off both of those speed sensor wires if you're not using them for EFI. There's another pair of speed sensor wires in the dash harness. Both pairs are from the connection to the trans in the rear harness. You may not use either if you have the GPS speedo.
