    AC Parts Needed

    Hey guys,

I'm working on putting together a list of the components in support of installing AC in my GTM. I went to GM Parts Direct website and they list all the following for the C5 Corvette AC System. Some are a no brainer to me like compressor, accumulator,... but wanted to confirm if I in fact need them all. Could you confirm if all these items are needed? Looks like some are discontinued, but I'd rather find new than used and run into issues. Thanks.

    Condenser PN 52470569
    Accumulator PN 1132765
    Accumulator Bracket PN 10229475
    Compressor PN 89018958
    Compressor Bracket PN 12556444
    Pressure Hose PN 19213199
    AC Tube Front PN 10436323
    AC Tube Rear PN 10436322
    AC Hose PN 10229474
    Pressure Sensor PN 13587697

Do you have the Vintage Air unit? I have one I'm not going to use, I'd give you a good deal on it if you need one.

If I recall correctly, my kit came with the AC hoses and pressure sensor. If not I feel you would be better off buying the hose and fittings separately. Buy a crimp tool and make it fit the way you want.

    Hey beeman,

Yes I do have the Vintage Air setup, thanks for the offer though.

    Thanks Roger,

I’ll double check my Vintage Air Box for those. Did I see you post something about a 90 deg adapter to assist with clearance around the Kooks headers? Where did you find it?

    Thanks,
    Sean

I found several at Hawk Motorsports. They have one for an LS1, LS2, LS3, etc.
