Pretty much, the rear quarters for were a little bit of a ***** but other than that it went on just fine. Installed the lights, rollbars, and the seats. Started working on the door, trunk, and the hood fitting.

    Chuck-

Congratulations, she looks great! You have been making some serious progress.

Are you going to run unpainted this summer, or are you getting the body work and paint done?

I look forward to seeing some more 289's getting done.

    Regards,

    Steve

Did you need to trim the lower valence any? How is the clearance on the fuel tank? A couple of us needed to trim quite a bit in this area...

No trimming necessary, but it was a challenge working tha rear end down. Going to run it in gelcoat this summer, paint next winter.

Got my inspection sticker this morning (flunked emissions, but that was a given) making an appointment with the MAC this afternoon to get my lifetime emissions exemption. Put about 12 miles on the car this morning, this puppy pulls like a freight train. 20 to 80 in second gear was exhilarating to say the least.

Looks good. I'm heading to the MAC Wednesday morning. Emailed my block photos so that they can get a head start.
