MKI identification and parking brake cables and switch

    Hi All,

Hoping you can help with with a FFR project I inherited from my late uncle.

First off identification - is it a MKI or MKII? The serial number is FFR3261K. No transmission tunnel substructure. Bought in December of 2001.

Secondly, I am working on the brakes and it appears my uncle did the Turbo T-bird rear disc upgrade. So trying now to figure out the parking brake cables. What ones do I need to get for the factory handle?

Also, what works out well for a grounding switch to the handle for my dash brake warning light? I have the wire run but not sure how to hook up a switch.

    Thanks in advance.

I am pretty sure it is an early Mk2. Depending on the specifics some were called "Tweener". Transition period between the Mk1 and the fully developed Mk2.
