Anyone Narrowed a 8.8 for better tire fitment

I'm using FFR wheels with 15" billboards and want the tires to tuck under fender a little bit. anyone done this? I'm talking to Moser about a 9" but I thing the 8.8 will do the job.....thanks in advance

    Narrowed for a roadster, no.

First i would check on offset rims. I dont know if they even make them?

I read somewhere that the 9" is less efficient so uses more HP ??? Be sure to check the pinion lenght to axle center line. No need in making the drive shaft shorter!!

Making an 8.8 axle of any lenght would be easy for Moser. The trick is to be sure on ALL the clearences when moving the tires inboard

I wouldn't narrow the already narrowed fox body width 8.8 for the roadster. My springs are already pretty close.
