Tires, wheels; Pickup and 33 input requested also

I have to admit that I like the old style look of the SEMA truck. The rims they used I like, but 16 inch Artillery wheels are expensive. Right now, I'm considering Rocket Igniter Wheel/ Gray to fit
Cooker Tires that are 5 inches wide and 7 inches wide. Excelsior Stahl Radial Tire - 750R16, and 600R16.

What are other folks using or planning, just in case I am overlooking an other option. Can you post pictures? The 33 Hotrod guys can offer input here also.

    Thanks

    I'm running an 18x10 front with a 295/35/18 and 20x11.5 rear with a 335/30/20.

    www.oewheelsllc.com

    Hope this helps.

The only photo I could find of mine -- it's just before the body went to the painter. The front tires are Toyo Proxes R888 255/35ZR18 mounted on 9" TorqThrust wheels and they work with bike fenders. I have the same Toyo tires for the rear but in 315/30ZR18 on 10" TorqThrust wheels for the street. The tire / wheel in the photo are my track tires: 28x11.5x15 M/T wrinkle wall drag slicks mounted on lightweight 10.275" Weld forged wheels. Yes the 15" rear wheels fit over the Wilwood 12.19" rotors and Wilwood 4-piston DynaPro calipers.

Jumbo's are a possibility. Found this article and spoke to Wheel Vintiques. They will be available in September 2018.

Otherwise will stick to the Rocket wheels.

Anyone have the max width rear tire for a truck with fenders yet? Any insite on rim size and offset along with tire size would be great.

    I got 18x8 with a 245/35/18 Nitto NT555 G2 front from US Mags Part U111
Same on the back but 275/35/20 on a 20x9.5

I was told by FFR that the front wheels offered by FFR for the 33 are the ones that will fit the full fender version. 18x8 with a 245/40 R18

I am using the 33 18-20 package on my 35 without fenders.

I contacted Tony at FF today and he said a 265 tire with 5.5” back space 8” wide wheel
Was the max that would fit. He did not elaborate on tire height. Today when I got home I unwrapped the fender and set it on a 275 I have, from the engine donor car for my build. It looks like with a proper wheel offset choice that Tony was on the conservative side.

Any further word on tire/wheel sizes from FFR. nbjeeptj, are the figures Tony gave you for the rear? Seem conservative.
Not sure how the newer Moser rear axle width affects all this.
I want to run conservative old school Torque Thrusts in 15" or 16" size to keep my rotors from looking like toys through the wheels. Not any radical larger tire sizes either.
    Comments?
