Harness Bars Who wants one? How many should we make?

It is common with the weather getting better, people get the itch to buy something, in this case Harness bars.

We are completely out of all types of GTM harness bar parts, no stage one, or any stages beyond there. We have had a few orders, we refunded the money, leading to this post.

If we get enough orders we will run a batch of however many reply. Not saying a purchase at the moment is required but a commitment will be a commitment. We will make them and ship them. This is a long process, order the parts from the laser cutter, get tubing, TIG weld all the parts and last but not least powder coat them. I assume it would take a month or more to get all of this done.

So reply here and we will see how many we get. The pricing from the site will stand unless we don't get enough orders.

Thanks for all the support so far. Richard.

    Hey Richard,

I'm sorry to ask a stupid question but what exactly do the harness bars provide and whats the install procedures, I'm very interested in them.

The bar replaces the factory upper bolt on location of the 3 point harness from the FFR/corvette 3 point harness. It allows for use of 4 or more point harness. Hope this explains what the part does. Richard.

I am kind of sorry to say that one response in a few weeks is probably not going to convince us to make more any time soon.

    Tucker298,

Here are a couple of pictures of the bar I built, more or less patterned after the bar Richard was building. It connects to the frame like he described above. Hope this helps, not hard to fabricate, and I will send it to powder coat next week.
