Now the work starts but remember to have fun along the way. Before you know it your rod will be done and all your buddies will be jealous.

And......one of the most frustrating, hair pulling, rant raving but most rewarding thing once its completed or so I've been told.
I've been working on mine for 2 years and almost ready to put the body on for the last time.

Don't pull all of your hair out. When I get to a point and find missing parts I just start working on a different section.
I took delivery 7 weeks ago, it's coming along OK, hopefully should have 2 more missing/don't fit parts shipments coming in the next 3-4 days.
    Nice shop Coolair.

Well, no progress to report! 14 days on a motorcycle, business deals, a wedding and family reunion to get ready for in June! Time is going by! Hopefully get a good start in July!

Good Luck Coolair! Its all worth it the first time you catch 3rd gear in a 2500lb rocket. I highly recommend planning some time driving the car in gelcoat at a couple closed course auto cross events. this does a couple things for you.
    1) gets you familiar with the car under controlled conditions.
    2) gets some sun on the glass while its under tension
    3) Avoids cone marks on your fresh paint job

    4) Seasoning the body panels is not a bad thing either
