    Connecticut Registration

    Hello,
I'm new in the world of Factory Five and am unsure about the registration process. Anyone have any experience registering in Connecticut? I'm worried about the emissions restrictions on new engines.
    Thanks,
    Jamie

The CT Composite laws state that the engine block year stamp dictates what emissions needs to be used. My block is a 1969 so only a PCV valve is necessary. A Coyote motor must have full emissions including catalytic converters. I’m about 4 months until I go to registration. For more information about Ct registration, search “composite” on the DMV website. If you have any questions you can call the inspection center in Wethersfield. I’ve called several times and they were extremely helpful.

Thanks so much! I'll try calling them and see what they have to say.

So for the folks in CT with a Coyote, what did you do about headers? J-pipes/CATs? Does anyone make a 4-1(cat)-4? header?
