    door sill in

    I split the sill plate piece so I could fit the carpet underneath the edge for a more finished look.
    Today I installed the passenger side sill. Insulated the exhaust cavity, then installed the inside panel. Insulated the inside panel, then carpeted it.
    Finally topped it off with the sill plate. I had the painter finish the sill plate in red to complement the outside accent stripe.

    any thought on protecting the paint from damage getting in and out of the car?

    I've been thinking about that too, and was wondering if the clear bra material would be a good option.
