    Secret to a happy relationship......

Never ask a spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend or significant other where they would like to for dinner to celebrate a special event.

    NEVER.

Instead, ask them to guess where you're taking them to dinner......then take them to the first place they guess.

    Ray-

I have never tried that, but I like it! It might be a refreshing way to try something new.

Thanks for sharing, and I hope everything is OK!!

    Everything is fine here.

A friend of mine sent that to me and both my wife and I thought it was funny.

So, I wanted to share it.

Well, I’d always heard that if you are married, you have two choices.

    You can be right.
    Or you can be happy.

A very good friend of mine, during a time of deep reflection and intense ponderment on the mysteries of the universe, (possibly alcohol induced) had an observation on cars and women. (Have never figured out if he was genius or demented)

He surmised: “Women are like old British cars, absolutely beautiful to look at, great fun to play with, ..... but ain’t none of them wired right.” :-)

Mine would probably do that too. Be like, "Well you'd probably prefer Chinese, right?"...

I've been happily married going on 33 years. I start every day off on the right foot by uttering these three simple words, "I am sorry."
