    Electrical Hook Up

Team, I am at a point to Start Hooking up the battery without the engine. All I need to do is insure I connect all grounds correctly and any hot wires that may be loose, just protect with electrical tape? What I want to do is install body and attach all lights and confirm all is working properly. Any thoughts or anything that stands out to watch out for.
In the pic of dash with the gauges i have the steering wheel upside down to see how it looks and check visual of the gauges in drivers seat.

I doubt you will have any problems, but if you are apprehensive about smoking something, you can put a fuse link on the positive post of the battery to the battery cable. If anything is shorted, it will only cost you a fuse. If not you can put the cable directly onto the battery post.
