    Power Steering Recommendations?

Getting close guys! Finalizing a few things. One of those is the power steering piece. I've ordered the power steering rack from FFR, and have tried to search what PS components line up with this to complete the kit. I find a lot of stuff around Coyote PS units, but just pieces around what is needed for a 351. Any recommendations here? I was looking on the Breeze website, but not sure what goes with what.

Also, is it better to get the FFR PS rack and match up other components, or is it better to just buy everything from one vendor for ease of installation?

The PS option from FFR you ordered will come with everything but the PS pump itself. I bought my engine from Blueprint with the PS pump, but all you need if you go with a different engine supplier is the pump and bracket. If you buy your own pump, you may need to modify it to get the proper pressure.

Call Breeze and ask him to lay out for what you will need. I know he has a good pump, a bracket that hangs off the front of either head (most common to put it on driver side since alt is commonly on psgr side), the hoses and the adapter to connect the hoses to the rack. One thing to consider is whether you will be using just one long serpentine belt or two belts. You need the proper pulleys and mount spacers so the crank pulley, water pump pulley, alt pulley and PS pump pulley are all on the same plane.

FFR provided the hoses, a belt, and the pulley for a serpentine setup. As Craig said, all that stuff needs to be planned out to work as a system.

I Didn’t realize that the FFR PS kit came with those other items. Thought it was just the rack. I’m planning on buying from Blueprint as well, so will verify that my choice comes with the pump. I also sent Mark from Breeze a note and he’s already responded. Great CS! Thanks again guys!

All I had to do was connect the FFR supplied hoses to the pump on my Blueprint engine. Everything else was ready to go. Keep in mind that those hoses are generic. A lot of guys use Mark's PS line kits as an alternative. Also, many install a cooler in the system. I didn't go that route, but it would be simple to add.
