Nicks in Brake Line PVF Coating

    Guys,

While preparing the FFR brake and fuel lines, I've removed some of the PVF coating. The grips on my flaring tool generally remove a lot of the PVF coating at the contact point. Are there any coatings I can use to protect the resultant exposed bare metal?

    Thanks,

    Damien

I imagine a touch up with epoxy paint, would protect them. If they are coated galvanized lines, they will last for 20 years, even without a touch up.
