Front Turn Signals - no power - struggling

I am struggling with my front turn signals. Any help would be appreciated.

    here is the background..
    2006 WRX Wagon donor
rear parking, brake, signal, and backup lights working
front headlights working high and low
    front parking power verified

potential issue : when I extended the headlight plugs from the stock wiring harness, I thought I was being smart and combined the black grounds on each plug and extended only 1 wire for both
When I turn on hazard lights the rear flash fine but I cannot get power out of either front plug F125 or F126 position 8 turn signal using either the extended ground or a new ground.

I have reviewed the wiring diagram and would think I could use my own ground but it does not work.

    Any thoughts? thx!!

Hi looks like subaru routes the front turn signal wiring back into the fuse block, then out of the fuse block to the front harness. The diagrams are from a 2004 WRX.

Genius..thank you... I had to open up center console but found that plug B52 blue going into fusebox had popped off so was getting no power thru the box. I would have thought it would have been more impactful than just the front turn signal but not so. very thankful ...all good. thx!
