2018 St. Jude FedEx Factory Five Mk4 Charity Auction Car

Visit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital like I did, and you will be a supporter for life. Part of our work here at Factory Five is dedicated to charity. We’ve supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation over the years as well as Fisher House and other charities. This year, we donated a complete Mk4 Roadster kit to The FedEx St. Jude PGA Golf Classic. This is the third car in four years that we have donated to benefit the kids at St. Jude. Retired FedEx pilot Bob McKee and his wife Cindy have spearheaded this project since the beginning. This year, Bob organized ten volunteers (all FedEx pilots) to build the car.

This beautiful red Mk4 Roadster is complete thanks to some great sponsors and the hard work of Bob and his FedEx pilot build volunteers.

Sponsors included Factory Five, FedEx, Landers Ford, Summit Racing Equipment, AutoZone, BluePrint Engines, PPG Paint,MPS Auto Salvage, Uni-Dolly, Carey’s Body Shot, and Stewart Transport

Factory Five Tech Manager Tony Zullo and customer Ron Everitt will be on hand during the auction at the FedEx St. Jude Golf Classic Pairings Auction. You can donate to the kids at St. Jude, and get more information on this event here.

The Factory Five team is proud to support the FedEx St. Jude Golf Classic charity.

Last year’s car was built DURING the PGA FedEx tournament. Above: Bob, his wife Cindy, and the FedEx team of builders.

On behalf of everyone at Factory Five, we’d like to thank FedEx and all of the sponsors above.

I can't wait to see the car in person. The car last year was amazing and I expect this year to be just as good.
