Post 818R for sale in AZ, <6000 miles, 441WHP, $33,500 OBO

    Asking $33,500 OBO

I am selling my 818R. Build #303, delivered December 2014 and finished in May 2018. As you all know, this is aunique car that is lots of fun and gets tons of looks and is essentially a go-cart for the road.

I am only selling because I can get the dream car I've always wanted, and don't have room for both; my loss is your gain!

Build took 3.5 years and was built with high quality materials. Engine & transmission was built by GoodSpeed Performance. Here is the breakdown:

    • Street legal in the state of Arizona
    • Gel-coated fiberglass body, no paint or wrap yet

    • Upgraded Spyder PRO-YD-TCAM02-DRL-BK DRL LED projector headlights; LED 3rd brake light for safety and visibility
    • Hella Supertone Horns
    • Custom upholstered center console with labeled switches
    • Small lockable, tamper-proof, electronic safe; auto-dimming rearview mirror; Civic Del Sol side mirrors, Zero Decibel rear fender brace

    Engine:

    • OEM wheel speed sensors for use with either ECU (vehicle speed, traction control)
    • Zero Decibel front fender vents, hood louvers, and trunk louver

    Remaining tasks:
    • Car currently only runs on 54% Ethanol (a.k.a., E54), but can be easily be retuned to run pump gas
    • 1st gear is a bit difficult to get into; shifter assembly needs adjustment.
    • Fuel tank level does not read. A fuel level voltage modifier is included that can be used with standalone ECU.
    • Seat rails should be welded to the frame to satisfy race safety requirements.
    • Standalone ECU needs to be mounted and tuned.

Sweet car! I'd close off that rear section in front of the coolant overflow (if that's what that is). If that thing ever bursts on a passenger you'll have a bigger lawsuit on your hands than McDonald's coffee in the crotch. Just an observation. Good luck with the sale!

Thank you for the good luck and the good suggestion. That particular picture was before I put the provided block-off panel in; the rear humps are indeed blocked off now.

Right on! Good luck with the sale. I went to school in Phoenix (UTI). Miss my old stomping ground.

    That's a great engine build.
Having said that, respectfully, you might want to do some price comparisons to what other 818's have sold for...
