    Sandpaper grit?

I’ve sprayed 3 coats of slick sand and started sanding...right now using 240 grit...should I be using 150 now? Planning on 3 coats of primer, then sealer after the slick sand? 150 cuts it much faster than 240 but concerned over scratches? One door took about 4 hrs, normal?

No 150! Slick Sand needs to be taken out to 400 for paint; you'll see scratches if you put base on anything coarser. If your SS finish wound up especially rough you can do an initial cut with 220/240 but just use it to knock the top down and finish with 400 to eliminate all of the coarse sanding scratches.

Thanks! Just to be clear, even though I’ll apply primer and sealer before the base coat, I need to have the S Sand at 400 prior to the primer coat?

The way we do it at Miller Customs.....3 coats G2 (same as sliksand) block with 150-180 , 3 coats of Urethane primer, block with 320, finish sand for basecoat with 500-600. ..If you are going to give it 1 coat of sealer use 500gr. if you are going to give it 2 full coats of sealer then 400gr is far enough.
