    New 3-link Rear end suppliers

FFR sell the Moser 8.8 3-link. Does anyone have experience with any comparable products and suppliers?

I had Moser build me a fully optioned M88 rear, full floating, Eaton true track, big axles, powder coated, etc. yes it was almost 5k for it but the craftsmen ship and material quality is top notch.
Mk4, Moser M88 rear end, Eaton truetrak, Craft Racing 461 Windsor, MMR pro trans, Glenn’s 1,000 hp cobra fuel system and lots of other parts.

Moser did a rear for my car and it was their TSD-500, which is a Dana 44 style case; however, I don't think it is a good option for Stock FORD Builds because it makes you shorten the driveshaft about 1.5 inches so a short driveshaft gets even shorter.

I went with this set up because it allowed me to run Ford Explorer rear brakes, had an Eaton Style Truetrack Posi with Bolt-In/No C-Clip Axles, plus my driveshaft length wasn't an issues since my drive-line is about 4-5 inches further forward than standard builds.

I've heard good things about MPS Auto Salvage and almost went that route but ended up getting one from pick-n-pull and rebuilding it instead.

MPS Auto Salvage did mine. They stripped it down, removed the rubber 4-link bushings, powdercoated it silver vein, new Yukon axles, new 3:55 gears, 5 lug conversion with new Cobra discs and a brand new differential cover from a late model Boss Mustang. Their customer service is fantastic and they pallet shipped it to me. I could not be happier...it’s perty to look at and works great.

I got my Moser 8.8 from Mike Forte along with the rear brakes installed. Realize that if you get a Moser from someone other than FFR, you will have to modify the FFR upper arm mount/bracket that would normally clamp on the axle tube since the Moser tubes are bigger in diameter. I ended up taking the reared and bracket to a local welder and had him weld it in place.

It sounds like you are planning to buy one, but another option is building one. I managed to build mine for around a $1000. That includes buying a used axle and purchasing all new parts for the inside and recouping some of the cost by selling all the original internal parts. I paid a local transmission shop to setup the gears. If I could have / would have done that myself I could've done it for under $700. I covered it in detail in my build thread starting on post #121.

Before ordering my MK4 I was looking at this setup:

    https://www.amazon.com/WILWOOD-DRILL...wilwood+brakes

In the end, I just ordered the Moser 3-Link through FFR; very nice axle and all the proper mounting tabs for the 3-link were already in place and ready to bolt into the car.

I'm thinking more and more about going this route.

That does not include the center section or gears, and no mounting brackets

Exactly why I went the FFR route. Add another $1,500-$2,000 to have it ready to go into the car.
