After getting so much out of this forum I figured it was about time I joined up. For the past 2 years you all have helped me build and (nearly) complete a MK4 kit which I assembled with my father. Highly recommend for anyone else considering a father/son or any sort of family project. The gist of this cobra:
427W (Holley 750 carbureted, dart block, stainless headers)
Tremec TKO600
15” wheels
8.8” rear axle
Avon cr6zz (225 front 295 rear)
Mechanical throttle linkage
Stainless fuel line
Oil cooler
In other words this is an old school build (you may have figured).
The car has been gel coating the streets for a short time now, have around 4K miles on her.
Really torn over paint colors. I have spent a lot of time on this forum looking at great examples of indigo blue and guardsman, which are probably my two favorites.
Anyway, thank you to all the forum members, this community is a more profound resource than it will ever realize.
