Either aluminum or cast iron will be fine. Gears or trac-loc not important as I only need the housing.

I have two spare aluminum ones sitting around, and for what it's worth also have an iron one completely rebuilt with 3.27 gears and a Detroit True trac back on page 22 or so of the "for sale - parts" sub-forum. Send me a private message or give a call (412-651-forty six thirty four) if interested.
