Low Volume Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Act of 2015

As a FFR builder ( '33 HR #353 ) living on the other side of the world I was wondering if this Act was ever put into action and if so was it embraced by FFR?.

    Hi Barrel

When I attended a seminar on this at SEMA in 2016, it seemed like it was a done deal. There is a good article I found by Dean Larson on the Reincarnation magazine website. It appears although the act passed in 2015, it is still stuck in government red tape. As far as Factory Five goes, they (Dave) said they were planning on putting up a new building for this - at least this is what was said at the seminar. I am guessing they are waiting for the thing to be fully legal.

    Thanks John

    Hi John ,
An Act that was passed in 2015 being stuck in government red tape 3 years later. Wow, who would have thought that could happen!!
Cheers, and thanks for the reply,
    Neil.

Yes, one thing you can count on from governments all around the world is the speed at which they get things done!

    Thank John
