    Alignment

What is the correct total toe in, in inches for the alignment on the 33 hot rod.

The manual has 1/16 on page 687 and 1/8 on page 104. June 2017 manual.

    Thanks

1/8 might scuff the tires a bit. Try 1/16 and see if you like how it handles. I use 1/16

Toe setting is a tuning aid -- a little toe-in helps straight line stability but may hinder steering response and a little toe-out can help turn-in but diminish steering stability. For a street car I'd do just what Steven suggested above. Start with 1/16" toe-in and see how it handles. If I was setting up a car for SCCA Solo I'd probably start with zero toe and try more toe-out until I was happy with my steering response. For drag racing dynamic toe set to zero would be an advantage. I don't believe in any one-size fits all for any chassis settings -- chassis set-up is based on the performance characteristics you're after and requires "tuning" to get it optimal. That said, I bet most folks would be happy with 1/16" or 1/8" toe-in so pick one and try it on for size. It's one of the easier chassis adjustments you can make. Don't be afraid to experiment.
