    Please Graduate 6349

Well, it has been a 10.5 year journey, but 6349 is finally done and on the road. I started out with the intention of building the car in 2 years or less, but life got in the way. We moved once but there was a greater impact from the amount of travel for work I have done over the last ten years. And there was probably a two year period in the middle where I did almost nothing on the car.

The car would never have been completed without the help from my life long friend Scott McNutt - he put in many many hours with me and he knows how to make things work and fit together the right way. Thank you Scott.

Finding someone to do the paint and body work was a challenge - I went to 12 shops and 11 either said no way or they quoted a price of $15k to $20k (which was no way to me). I finally found a guy that did a great job, and I had expert advice from Jeff Miller and Jeff Kleiner - thanks guys. My guy had never done a Cobra replica before so the help from Jeff and Jeff was greatly appreciated.

    Here are a few pics.

Thanks. The front spoiler was made by William Hough Composites in 2007. He was on the FFCARS.com forum, not sure if it is still available.

Well done, no matter how long it. The tail light is cool. I noticed your mirror is mounted to the top of the windshield, I wish I would have done that. Enjoy it.

    Wonderful Job

Wonderful Job. I saw Factory Five's Facebook page shared that very nice picture at the Train Station Inn.
I am also from Nova Scotia and I am planning a build in my future.
I was wondering what the importation of the kit was like? Did you have any major headaches getting it to your door?

No major issues with importing the kit. I took a truck and trailer to Factory Five to pick up the kit.
