Anyone in the Houston or Galveston area?

The wife and I are planning a trip somewhere between July 29th and Aug 4th down to the coast. Wondered if anyone down that way wants to meet and show off their car a bit. Maybe if the weather is nice several of us could get together for dinner or something and have a few of them to check out.

Really.... There is no one around Houston or Galveston that wants to show off their Hot Rod? I am open to drive an hour or so from Houston to visit for a while and talk cars.

Man, H-town is not representing! I don't "exactly" have my roadster kit yet, and am only driving my '05 Mazda Tribute so I don't think meeting up to "show it off" is in the cards! PM me and I can give you the info on a Yahoo Groups Houston group that is very active with their *obra cars: you might have excellent luck posting up somethin there.

It sounds like a lot of fun. I'm about 70 miles East of Galveston and 90 miles East of Houston so it would be doable, but my wife is having heart issues and hasn't left the house in 2 months except to go to the hospital and to the cardiologist. Enjoy your trip. The seafood is awesome.

    Andy,

Sorry to hear the wife is having the trouble. Maybe on the next trip we can get together.

Yeah I did and there are a few in the area. I was hoping to also catch a few that might not be on the map.
