    MK4 Radiator Question

    Guys

I'm starting to mount the radiator on my build. Looking at the build manual, the radiator has many mount holes already made in the flanges on the top and bottom of the radiator. My radiator has no mounting holes. Did something change recently ? Do I just line it up and make my own mounting holes in the radiator ?

    Thanks!

correct. i really suggest you look into buying the Breeze radiator mounting stuff upper and lower. I use it on all my Complete kit MK4 builds.

Be advised you may have to clearance the out-board corner of the right side upper radiator mount. Or you may not, depending on the radiator.

    1. Mark sells quality stuff and I've got his seat brackets and his radiator shroud.
    2. I used his fan shroud as the frame for my radiator support and fan mount.
    3. The shroud is actually attached to the radiator and I built a "Breeze Inspired" system that can be seen in the attached video:

25-30 Seconds In You Will See What I Did:

If you want to better support your radiator and I suggest you do, then consider his mounting system especially if you don't feel like going off the reservation like some people, namely me, by creating your own set up.

Good Luck & You Can't Go Wrong With Mark's Stuff!
