    Side pipe failure

Anyone else experience this kind of failure with the Factory Five side pipes. Just noticed this recently, car has just over 2000 miles on it. No damage to the pipe other than the seam failed. E1EC2A68-A3AC-4BBB-B7A1-1F46FCA554A9.jpeg

Yes, my friend Joel Grant just had an identical failure on one of his stainless pipes. FFR replaced it.

Out of curiosity, have all failures been with pipes with those sharper edges?
    FFR 5136 Started as a donor...donor guages, engine, trans,etc. Now...TFS street intake,stage 1 cam, GT40p's,24# injectors and 80mm MAF,70mm TB,Z-spec t-5, and PSE Halibrand wrapped with Nitto 555 G2’s. My ever evolving dream car!!

    Sten,
I can only speak for Joel's but his didn't have sharp edges unti it blew apart and fractured. The other end of the pipe as well as the one on the other side of the car were rounded.

I agree with Jeff, the left side was rounded as was the right until it cracked and fell off at over 100 mph,
