FFR Performace brakes-not Wilwood-Pad fitment questions

    Guys,
I'm working on the rear brakes-I purchased the FFR performance kit-they are not the wilwoods.
When I installed the front brakes, the instructions said to put in the pad slide guides-the smooth thin silver metal inserts.

The rear kit has the pad slide guides in the hardware kit for the rear, but in the instructions, they do not mention to put them in.

Just, compress the spring on the top of the pad and insert into the caliper...
    Look at these photos
One is with the pads installed as instructed
The other is the pads, pad slide guides and caliper.
And one with just the caliper-

PS-I tried to see if the pad slide guides fit, and I could not find a way to make them work.

Let me know what you have done. Thanks again
    Martin

No guides, just the pads and springs. make sure the springs set properly. not sticking out through the slot.
