Maybe more folks will see this and become interested in checking out their cars. My bump steer was initially excessive at .053" out at 1" bump and .100" out at 2" bump. I was able to get that down to .002" toe in at both 1" & 2" of bump and .005" at 1" of droop. Excessive bump steer (or roll steer -- two similar but different things) can make a short wheelbase car very darty and feel unstable. Bump steer and roll steer can also help or hurt performance around corners and some folks use them as chassis tuning aids. Bump steer with the steering wheel turned can be different than with them straight ahead.
